How a connection works
You connect a system once here. After that, you work from the page the records belong on: QuickBooks customers arrive on Accounts, not in a settings screen. QuickBooks owns the billing details it is the source of truth for, which is the name, contact, email, phone and city. The hub keeps everything QuickBooks has no opinion about, so your segment, site count, notes and pipeline are never overwritten by a sync.
